Welcome to the official hub for the 2026 JMO National Day of Dance!
Each year, the three governing bodies of Morris dancing—Open Morris, The Morris Federation, and The Morris Ring—come together to celebrate our rich, shared heritage. This year, Open Morris is incredibly proud to be your host.
In October 2026, we will be bringing hundreds of dancers, musicians, and performers to the vibrant streets of Reading for a spectacular mass gathering. Expect a day filled with colour, music, clashing sticks, and ringing bells as sides from all across the country showcase the very best of traditional dance.
